We look forward to welcoming visitors to Ridgeland’s scenic outdoors, numerous restaurants and hotels, and our trails of boutique and big-name shops. Guests are advised to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines while both traveling to and visiting our beautiful city. Safe practices include washing hands regularly with soap and water, minimizing close contact with others, and maintaining a minimum of six feet of social distance from others.

We will do our part to ensure all visitors can experience the joy of traveling to Ridgeland. We hope you will help too by Visiting Ridgeland Responsibly!  

The Ridgeland Visitor Center is OPEN

We strongly encourage visitors to wear a mask and practice social distancing when entering.

Summary of Social Distancing and Safety Requirements in Mississippi
Social distancing (keeping at least 6 feet away from other) continues to be essential away from home.
  • Social gatherings indoors are limited to 10 persons
  • Social gatherings outdoors are limited to 50 persons
  • This limitation shall not apply to facilities governed by other capacity limitations

RIDGELAND RESTAURANTS & BARS

Our Ridgeland restaurants are dedicated to "The Mississippi Restaurant Promise," and following our state's executive safety orders in order to protect their customers and employees.
Executive Order  1522 & "The Mississippi Restaurant Promise"
  • All restaurants and bars shall limit the number of customers to no greater than 75% capacity.
  • All parties or groups must be separated by a minimum of 6 feet.
  • All employees must be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 daily.
  • All employees must wear a face covering when serving the public.

 

RIDGELAND ATTRACTIONS

Whether you're ready to play on the water, bike our trails, or shop for that one-of-a-kind treasure, Ridgeland's attractions are prepared to keep you safe while you explore.

Natchez Trace Parkway

Barnett Reservoir

The Reservoir is open with social-distancing protocols in place.
  • Maintain at least 6-feet of space between people on boats, boat ramps, and bank fishing.
  • Boats are allowed to carry no more than half of the maximum occupancy rating for each watercraft.

Retail Businesses (Executive Order 1549)

  • Masks are encouraged but not required
  • Please call your desired retail business for their individual safety protocols.

  • Apple Store has reopened as of September 30th.

Outdoor Sports

Youth Sports (Executive Order 1491)
  • All participants must be screened for symptoms of COVID-19
  • Concessions must remain closed
  • Limit of 2 fans per player
  • Fans outside of family group must maintain 6 feet of separation
  • Bleachers shall be closed to fans
