The Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition is celebrating its 71st year of providing college scholarships to ladies ages 18-24 to support our state’s best and brightest young women. The Ridgeland Tourism Commission will hold a Hospitality Tea Competition on March 7, 2020 at the Ridgeland Visitor Center to select a local contestant for the annual competition on July 17 & 18, 2020 in Hattiesburg. The Hospitality Tea Competition will be judged in an interview and community commercial.
Ridgeland’s Miss Hospitality 2020 will serve a full year as the community’s spokesperson, promoting visitation and development to the city. This is wonderful opportunity for young women to learn communication and interview skills, public speaking tools, and create lifelong friendships while providing a better understanding of their hometown community’s assets.
