Friday, July 15. World Snake Day is a great time to see native snakes up-close while learning more about them. You will have a chance to meet live snakes exhibited throughout the museum and to ask questions about them.  Can’t make it to the museum for the event?  You can learn about snakes from home by watching snake expert Terry Vandeventer demonstrate and discuss Mississippi snakes and the ways to distinguish our venomous snakes from non-venomous ones.  Don’t let this event slither by!  $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children ages 3 and up.
