Named a Bike Friendly Community by the League of American Cyclists, Ridgeland’s multi-use path is a perfect setting for cyclists and walkers alike. This scenic 14.76-mile trail travels among wildlife and abundant foliage near the Mississippi Craft Center at Rice Road and near the Natchez Trace Parkway. Several side trails bring users of the path to schools, shops (pictured here) and businesses. Ridgeland’s progressive spirit is expanding and enhancing its trail and cycling offerings has brought national recognition to the town as Ridgeland is one of only 144 cities across the U.S. to hold this Bike Friendly honor.
