Ridgeland, Mississippi is pulling out all the stops for its Art, Ride and Wine Weekend April 17-19, 2015. There’s something for everyone, and you’re invited!
Sample Ridgeland’s elevated art forms – from visual to cultural and culinary to musical! Enjoy a splendid weekend of events that showcases some of America’s finest artists offering artwork that is creative, inventive and unique. Vendors at the Ridgeland Fine Arts Festival are chosen by a panel of independent jurors, selecting only the finest in clay, drawing/pastels, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and wood. The free outdoor festival atmosphere allows patrons to mingle with artists and talk with them about their influences, media and methods.
On Saturday, April 18, experience Santé South Wine Festival! Santé South is a destination event and international showcase of the world’s premier wines and some of Mississippi’s most succulent culinary delights. Since 2006, Santé South has grown into the largest wine and culinary extravaganza in the state of Mississippi. Truly Mississippi’s top luxury wine and food experience! Epicureans and connoisseurs in the greater Southeast revel in the fresh and flavorful cuisine. Only small production and boutique wineries are invited to Santé South.
And as if that’s not enough, hop on your tandem bike April 17-19 for Mississippi’s inaugural tandem rally, the Ridgeland OBO! The ride will feature some of Central Mississippi’s fantastic cycling routes with the main feature ride being the Natchez Trace Parkway, a national scenic byway of the National Park Service that
runs right through the City of Ridgeland.
