The Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition is celebrating its 73rd year of providing college scholarships to ladies ages 18-24 to support our state's best and brightest young women. The Ridgeland Tourism Commission will hold a Hospitality Tea Competition on February 26, 2022 at the Ridgeland Visitor Center to select a local contestant for the annual competition on July 15 & 16, 2022 in Hattiesburg. The Hospitality Tea Competition will be judged in an interview and community commercial.
Ridgeland's Miss Hospitality 2022 will serve a full year as the community's spokesperson, promoting visitation and development to the city. This is wonderful opportunity for young women to learn communication and interview skills, public speaking tools, and create lifelong friendships while providing a better understanding of their hometown community's assets.
Please note, there are time and financial commitments to participate as Ridgeland's Miss Hospitality in the state competition. The Ridgeland Tourism Commission will pay the $300.00 registration fee for the state competition and purchase one of the four required pages of advertising in the Mississippi Miss Hospitality Program Book. All other expenses related to participation in the state competition (i.e. wardrobe, travel, coaching, etc.) are the contestant's responsibility. Click here to view the full Letter of Introduction.
