  Come enjoy a night under the stars at Old Trace Park on the Ross Barnett Reservoir in Ridgeland, Miss. The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra (MSO) will host its annual Peps Pops concert on May 9, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by Pepsi-Cola distributor Brown Bottling Group.

Park gates will open at 4:30 p.m. for attendees to listen to pre-concert entertainment from local musicians. Performances by The Juvenators and Mississippi Swings will be introduced by the evening's special guest hosts Maggie Wade, Wyatt Waters and Marshall Ramsey.

Children joining parents at this event have an area designated just for them. The "Pepsi Playground" will open from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. with free admission. In addition to a space jump and slides, children can enjoy a number of other games and activities.

Be sure to stop by the concession stand and choose from a juicy hamburger, grilled chicken sandwich, ballpark-style hotdog, a number of snacks and a Pepsi-Cola beverage, offered throughout the evening.

Following the close of the "Pepsi Playground" at 7:30 p.m., Meastro Crafton Beck and the MSO will take the stage for a rousing concert themed Rockin' on the Rez with music for all ages from Jurassic Park and Superman to Oklahoma and a Bugs Life. The concert will conclude with a fireworks finale.

Adult tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the gate. Tickets are also available at BeBop Records and area Kroger grocery stores. Tickets for children ages 4 to 18 are $5. Children under 4 are free.
