The 2nd Annual Celebrity Throw:  Where the Arts Meet Athletics

Talented athletes will try their hands at throwing pottery on pottery wheels.  Then, you decide whose pottery is best by donating $1 per vote.  Events being at 5:00 pm with local high school athletes competing in a Quarterback Skill Throw.  At 6:00 pm, our celebrities begin their pottery followed by an auction for their work!  Come see Jeff Brantley, Major League All-Star baseball player and radio/tv broadcaster; Ricky Comegy, head football coach at Jackson State University; Ray Guy, seven-time, all-pro kicker for the Oakland Raiders; Michael Rubenstein, Director of the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum; Randy Watkins, Director of Viking Classic and former National Junior Golf Champion; and more!  Proceeds benefit the Education Fund of the Mississippi Craft Center and the Scholarship Fund of the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.
